{exploring love} barcelona
A couple weeks ago, I made a quick little trip over to Barcelona to soak up the sun and see two of my dear friends from Canada, Shane and Alyssa. Barcelona has never really been on my radar. Sure, I’ve always wanted to visit Spain but I hadn’t spent much time imagining what it was like or dreaming about it. But Barcelona was better than anything I could have dreamed! What an amazing city! It’s lively, sunny, beautiful, and endlessly friendly. We spent our first day lying on the beach, where I splashed in the Mediterranean Sea and soaked up as much sun as I could to take back to grey London. We biked around the old city, ate gelato outside the cathedral, enjoyed pinxos, listened to opera, explored with our cameras, and wandered around La Sagrada Familia and more. It was a perfect couple of days in a wonderful city. I will certainly be going back again!

That’s true, Elyse! I’m excited to be traveling (domestically) over the next 3 weeks. I’ll be going to St. Louis this weekend and then some lakes in Wisconsin the following week. I know, for a fact, that there’s some instatreasures in both of these places.
