This is not a book about food (2014) is an exploration of my former neighbourhood of Parkdale in Toronto. When I moved there, in an effort to get to know my new home, I went on a series of dates with friends to local restaurants. I've always believed that one of the best ways to familiarize yourself with a new place is by eating. The result of the meals is a series of photographs in a handcrafted interactive book with the hope that the reader will get to experience something of Parkdale, too.
